Terry Hickman’s broadcast career spans 25 years with an established track record of success. His radio work blends years of experience in programming, production, management, sales and marketing to provide a great mix of talent and skill.
He’s worked with some of the biggest and best broadcast companies in the industry as a program director and air talent, including WMAQ/Chicago, WXDJ/Miami, KCMO/Kansas City, WTIX/New Orleans, KHIH/Denver and the Jones Radio Network.
While serving as Chief Advisor of the worldwide broadcast consulting firm Radio Services International, Hickman was a respected leader in the development of commercial radio in the United Kingdom helping to launch Buzz Fm in Birmingham and Melody Radio in London.
Most recently, Hickman served as Affiliate Relations Manager for On The House syndication, one of America’s leading distributors of home improvement programming. During his tenure, On The House with the Carey Brothers grew an unprecedented 26% to become America’s number one do-it-yourself radio program. Hickman was also instrumental in the development of new programming for the company including RiderRadio and In the Kitchen with Dom Deluise.
During the course of his career, Hickman’s accomplishments have been honored with ten awards and citations from the Associated Press, United Press International and Sigma Delta Chi for excellence in radio production and writing. |
